31 tooth pulley on FI 08+ 1 Year, 2 Months ago  
I've been looking to purchase this for my 09. Everywhere I've found them they give options for 99-03 and 04-07.. No one lists 2008 + .. Even Yamaha accessories link on starmotorcycles.com doesn't show one for 08 and above... I understand the 1600 uses a different pulley vs. the 1700 but what is the diff between carbed 1700 vs. FI 1700 regarding the pulley? What gives??

Thanks GP.. So do all R* all years use the same pulley? Barrons shows same part number years 1999-2012.. I had thought the 1600 and 1700 used different pulleys?

the 1600 had 33 tooth and the 1700 had 32 tooth. But they all fit the shaft.

the nut has a tenancy to come unscrewed on the newer bikes. Some of the guys are are using red locktite on that nut to make sure it does not come off.
