I'm fairly sure the PR kit will also require HC pistons.

Don does a regrind, well, he does 2, but one is a what he calls a mild design, and will work with stock pistons. From what I hear, it will keep the Tq up into the mid 4k rpm range. Typically at approx 3200rpm with stock cams is when you start to see the Tq going down.
