Warrior clutch spring the same as a roadstar? 6 Years, 1 Month ago  
i am wondering if the stock warrior clutch spring is stiffer then the stock 1600 1999 clutch spring? are they interchangable.

I am not sure if it is stiffer than stock RS springs. However, unless you already have a Warrior spring set already, I would leave it alone unless you want to upgrade your pressure plate with a Barnett ass'y. Which DOES have a better setup. I would definitely replace the stock pressure plate bolts with NEW ONES as the old stretch and snap. (Don't ask me how I know this)

Yes, the Warrior spring is stiffer than the stock R*.

You can also put a Barrett spring in but the OEM Warrior is cheaper.

Which is better ..... ????? I think for the money the Warrior one will do fine.

This winter when I installed the 108" big bore kit, I installed a Warrior Speedstar clutch spring and it works great.
