wondering if im to low up front (update) 1 Year ago

so with the 21" front wheel i lowered the front 2" to compensate for the taller tire. but i notice with the tricky shock i like my ride a little firmer so i put a little more air in it whitch raises the back farther than it did with the stock shock, say 1/2" to 1" and last year before i put on the 21" my pipes would drag before my boards (not good) now my boards hit before the pipes. so im wondering if i am in a nose down angle throwing off my trail. the reason i wonder about this is riding solo i have a little wobble on the freeway but 2 up its solid as a rock probly due to the back sitting lower due to added wieght increasing my trail (or so i think). what do you guys think, raise the front a inch and see what happens or just try to cut a bigger preload spacer to make it sit a little higher and ride a little stiffer up front and reducing the 3.5" of travel left. and has anyone else felt this or heared of this??

I think you are right, it's a little low in the front. I'd put in a 1" shorter top-out spacer and a 1" longer spring spacer.
What is the final OD of your front tire?

yea. im thinking i am for sure to high in back. acording to the tire calculator, my new back tire is a 160/60/18 thats 1.29" taller than stock and the new front 120/70/21 is 2.4" taller than the stock front tire. so... i would say im nose down, crap
i think i should go back to stock hieght just because the new back tire makes up alot of the difference on the front.

Your assumptions are correct. The "wobble" on the freeway is because you have reduced the trail by lowering the front or raising the rear such that the rear is higher than the front. You can correct the problem by correcting the stance such that it is neutral (level).
If your bike has a neutral stance then it will lower as a result of a passenger and the trial will increase. Increasing the trail is much better than decreasing the trail, as you have noticed.

well doc sometimes the most obvious answer stares you in the face and you miss it somehow. when i changed up the wheels i didn't even think of the rear tire being so much taller than stock and well here i go tearing my bike back down at least i cant ride right now anyhow due to me waiting on my rear belt pulley to be repaired or replaced by dna
on the flip side having over a 1.5" taller ground clearance i shouldn't bottom out so much and i can lean harder in the twisties before draging pipe

If I was going 2" back up then I would by the progressive stock height springs. I tossed my stock springs when I took them out. I hated that nose diving.

I agree buying the stock height springs would be best but its out of the financial realm right now so im just looking to get by for now. so I dunno if it would be better for longer spacers and remove the top out springs, put the topout springs on top of the main springs, or just put the crappy stock springs back in
