Platinum Boarder Posts: 1138 Additional Horn 1 Year, 2 Months ago   I've got a new super loud horn that I'd like to install IN ADDITION to the stock one. I don't want to use the same button since I'd like to have both horns operate independently of each other. I was thinking of placing the new button in the area of the red dot on the included pic. I haven't cracked open the switch cover to see about the possibility when I decided to draw from the knowledge here first. Any ideas? I put on a set of Wolo air horns, and kept the stock horn in place. I wired them both up to a two way on/on toggle switch so I could select which one I wanted to sound, while still using the stock horn button. And I sold the bike over 4 years ago, so no pics. But, it's really very simple. Go to a Radio Shack, Home Depot, Lowes, etc and get a toggle switch where both poles are hot (on). Wire one side to the factory horn, and the other side to the new horn. It looks to be exactly what you want to do. You will just have to wire that horn independantly instead of soldering it to the other one. Otherwise this will work for you I think. At first glance this looks like a solution to my problem, but after a bit of study I don't think it will work. I'm wiring and independent horn on here not just adding another button for the one horn. Looking at the pics of what appears to be an even bigger left grip switch housing it does look very cramped. While it may not work exactly as specified in that link I may be able to glean some ideas to make my install easier. I installed this portable air horn with black wire tie downs just above the factory front horn and used that horns wires to power it. I then simply unplugged and tapped the rear horn wires. After a couple of test blasts (where I blew out the fuse), I upped the fuse 5 amps and haven't had a problem since. This air horn is as loud as those selling for over $200 in a side-by-side blast-off.
