Apes Install ? 1 Year ago
Hello all.
I just purchased some 14" apes and was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the correct length upper brake line I need to order and what is the correct banjo size on upper and lower banjo? 10 mmm or 12 mmm?

Thanks for any help or advice.

Depends how much extra whip you want on your cables.

For 14"-15" apes(mine are a little weird)I did +6 and wouldn't have wanted any more than that. But, it's more of a personal choice.

This is +6".

I got a 30in line on mine, had to trim the tab on lower tee for the new banjo to point straight up!

Gotta agree with Tampa, I went +10 for 16's. +8 would have been better

Just bought a upper brake line for my 14" apes and I got them 30" overall. I have a local race shop that made stainless braided up in 10min for $35.
