07 road* only runs for 4 sec 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Went to start my 07 road* the other day and it started fine then shut down. It seems like it its not getting fuel but I've removed the air cleaner and can see fuel going in when I twist the throttle. It will start almost every time but will only run for a few sec. I bypassed the fuel filter with no change.
I was thinking maybe its the fuel pump but with it getting fuel when twisting throttle maybe its not. I'm really baffled right now

I've got it up for sale and want to make it right but don't want to blindly replace stuff and don't want to relocate fuel pump or change to vacume.

Has this been going on since July of last year? Did you ever fix it back then?

The problem went away last year after going over things without a real solution. I still run SeaFoam regularly and haven't had the problem repeat in 1000 miles or so. Ive changed sparkplugs oil change etc but nothing out of the ordinary.

I replaced the fuel pump with a used one from ebay ($65 with shipping) and everything seems to be running well again.
