You confused me for a minute, because your username is 1700, which is 04+, 99-03 is 1600cc. I just made the swap with my 01 wheels in favor of 05 wheels. There's almost no difference I could tell with the exception of the pulley. I reused my old spacers on the new wheels, and everything bolted up perfectly. The 04+ front rotors are floating, so your chrome covers won't completely cover the gaps.

Here's the 99-03 rotor next to the 04+ rotor:

Here's the gap after you put on the front covers:

And in my signature is the wheels on an 01 R*.

Thanks for the info. The 1700 thing is from my Warrior 4m and this bike has PR 10 1/2 pistons and is a little bigger than stock.

So the conclusion that was made is that If I use my (2000) spacers (front and rear), rotors, calipers and rear pulley I can mount a set of 2006 wheels without a hitch?
