#5018 BlownStar (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 12 Rear axle 2 Years, 7 Months ago   Installing a (side mount) license plate. This style is held on by the axle but the part that the axle runs through is about 3/4&quot; thick. That makes the stock axle too short. The rear axle is hollow. Use a tap and thread the inside of the axle (can't remember the size but it's around 1/2&quot. Buy a SS bolt and washer and 'Bob's your Uncle&quot;.
