Lost Rev limiter 1 Year ago  
So I have found the rev limiter in 1st & 2nd, tried in 3rd, but was almost at 80mph and nothing, where is it? Scared to ask where 4th & 5th are, and not sure I can find any roads around here that I can look either.

I hit it around 90 in third.

And I don't know if it matters but 1600 or 1700?

Yes there is a difference with a 1600 and 1700
approx 4300 for 1600
approx 4800 for 1700

most hit approx mid to upper 80's in 3rd
never heard of anyone hitting limiter in 4th, and really don't think you can even hit it in 5th

I use a dyna3k and hit 99mph in 3rd, but limiter is set to 5k

sounds good to me,I never hit it after 3'rd. But 1st. and 2nd. comes way to easy.

3rd is right around 82 MPH on a stock 1600, at least mine. It is right around 90 with a 1700 ignition module on a 1600

have not hit it in 4th and 5th, but that's another thread I had going. In work. No need to I suppose.

Yep 3rd 83 to 86 somewhere in there I'll hit it.03 1600 stock module.
Forget about 4th or 5th

I've not hit the limiter in any gear since i put the Speedstar module in feels like there isn't one, so i just shift when it sounds like I should. Plus I can feel the power level out at one point so I feel like there's no use in me letting it go anymore, just shift and grab a big hand full of gas!
