have you tested the meter with just a single resistor to verify both meters are good? Maybe a fuse has blown in both meters? But for 2 TPS' to be bad, highly doubt. Blue to black wire should be approx 5k ohms, yellow to either wire (blk or blu) should see ohms change as you turn it.

Did all the checks on my ohm meters, yes im on ohms black in the com terminal and red in the ohm side on the meter. Turned to ohms, auto ranging fuzes are fine dont have a resistor handy to check to make sure though. Funny thing though should be getting some kind of reading by touching the probes together or even touching my hand with them agreed next to nothing but should be somthing hmmmmmmm. Continuity works on both meters guess the next thing is to go down to a electrical parts house and buy a resistor to test it correctly d@#$ I hate to think that both my meters arent working they are both not the cheapos one of them is a real spendy meter I used to use to check duty cycle on my tattoo machines before they came out with power supplies that did it for you....

Something just doesn't sound right. I have never heard of a TPS going bad but that doesn't mean it couldn't. If you were closer I have a digital meter that I know works and isn't a cheap one.

yes, touching the leads together should get ya zero ohms. Ok, lets go to next elimination, probe leads. Take one out, and with the other one still connected, put the probe on the other side. Try with each probe, could be an open in the probe wire itself. Hmm, but strange that continuity works.

Most meters have 2 fuses, one strictly for amps, the other for all other functions.

Is it testing voltage?
Can use an light bulb to check ohms, should be a low resistance.

will check tonight but would thing that if its a lead that wouldnt show continuity might just borrow a freinds meter and see if it works but yeah checked both fuzes in each meter and both have continuity
