AIS Removal 6 Years, 1 Month ago
I keep hearing people talk about how they've removed the AIS components off their Road Stars. How do you do that? Has anyone written tips on how to do it? Where would I find the plugs that go into the engine? I can't picture it something a Yamaha dealer is gonna stock.

I bought my AIS removal kit from Maxair. Real good guys to deal with. Plus they're right down the street here. NoPork was bad. I then removed the forward horn and bought an old fashioned chrome grill type and installed it between the downtubes to the engine mounts. Looks real good up front now.
