For you guys who ride all year, it's a good battery (you can get the size larger than the one I had). For us northerners who have to store the bike for a few months, I'd recommend with caution.

Odyssey Dry Cell PC545 Had one in my old Harley that I bought for cost from a place where I use to work. It was a returned as bad, tested it all was fine. Run it 4 years and was still working fine when I sold the bike this summer. My RS already had a PC545 Odyssey in it when I bought it this spring. Good batteries long life low upkeep. Just my .02cents worth Wildman03

Thought I'd add my 2 cents since I worked in the lead acid battery industry for 12 years. The absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery has separators between the plates that soak up the electrolyte (acid) and are under compression, the gel cell has electrolyte that has been "hardened" into a gel. These batteries are much more difficult to manufacture and fail more frequently because of the manufacturing defects.

A normal battery has plates suspended in the electrolyte and the manufacturing process is much easier with far less defects. I suggest a "normal" battery from a reputable company - you can still expect to get 5 years out of the battery unless it too has defects. Usually a short through the separator material (separates pos. and neg. plates) causes a battery to self discharge and fail.
