lower air deflector mounting 4 Years, 6 Months ago
My Midnight Star has brackets on the forks for air deflectors. Is there any other hardware besides the deflectors themselves needed to mount them?

Are you talking about the brackets that are part of the windshield mount? The lowers need the hardware that connects the lowers to the brackets.

yes, brackets that are part of the windshield mount. I was hoping to avoid having to spend $100.00 bucks on brackets for 60 dollars in deflectors

I made my own deflectors using those mounting holes, aluminum angle and 1/4 in plexiglass, s/s hardware. if interested i can take pics and email them to you. on another note how noisy is your engine, im having a problem with mine at only 400 mi.

Knocks a little when first started. Stops after about 30 seconds.
