Well....I just got back from a multiple day ride which included, city , I5, I90 and the Trans canada....and the best I was getting was 35-36 mpg. I had to convert litres and kilomaters to US gallons and miles but I switched to reserve when the engine sputtered.. and yup was putting in 16- 17 litres..which was 4 to 4.25 gals and getting 150 miles tops and as low as 20 mpg. Now I was loaded and tried to keep up with the 6 speed harley so I was burying the throttle pushing 70mph up some pretty steep hills in Montanna, so I expected to pay the price. I attained my best mpg of course when I ditched my luggage and rode with just me on the bike. I am not pumpless and I have a Kuryachan pro hyper charger and 2 to 1 roadburner pipes. when he installed VI Classic II's. I do get popping on decel
and was wondering if this was a factor?
