Gas Tank Pressure 11 Months, 1 Week ago
My gas tank is building too much pressure. When I take the cap off it blows out a lot of pressure. Even after a few minutes in the hot sun. I checked the anti roll over valve and I can blow through it with the key on. Then I installed the vent hose back on the tank so I can blow through it. I couldn't so I used my blow gun with over 100lbs of pressure. It still wouldn't blow through. Then I bunched a shop rag as a seal and put my blow guy in it to blow pressure. Still no air coming out the vent. I even tried to run a small wire in the vent hole to see if it was restricted. It wouldn't go through. It might be baffled though. This all happened after I took the tank off to check out my fuel gauge sender that wasn't working. I turned the tank upside down when I did this. Besides doing the gas cap venting mod, what do you guys suggest?

Vent the gas cap or drill out the tank vent
