Liquid Out Of Front Cylinder 6 Years, 1 Month ago
Hey Fellow Star Riders, Mike here and I am pretty new to this site. I have a new 06 Pearl White Silverado. I put on 2" Cobra Drag Pipes and cut the baffles in half for more tone. Which sound great . Put in a Dynojet kit. 170 main, clip on 3rd slot, pms out 2 turns and chcked the float level. Here is my dilema. Upon initial cold start ups I get liquid comming out of the exhaust from just the front cylinder, for about 15-30 seconds. It is not an excessive amount but enough to see it spitting black carbon on my white wall tire. Please does anyone know what is causing this and how do I cure it? Thank You All , Sincerely Mike (Bear) Ride Safe and God Bless

I'm an auto tech and have experienced condensation in automotive systems that drips from the tailpipe for a short period. I cant see how a bike exhaust would be that much different. they both function on the same princeables as do most all internal combustion engines. Althuogh I can't say for sure thats what it is, thats just my opinion of a possible cause.

yep, had the same all through the winter.

touch a bit of the liquid. if it feels like water, it´s just condensation so don´t worry.

in the mornings i don´t start the bike next to my neighbours white car for that reason. i did one morning and left black spots all over the fender of the car
