Oil Consumption/ Drilling Stock Airbox 5 Years, 9 Months ago

Hey Guys I appreciate all the comeback and good advice so far. Hate to bug everyone again but I do have two more questions. First is I recently did a 650 mile run round trip on my new 06 R*, 75% freeway at 85 avg speed. I checked oil after this and used up a 1/2 of a quart. Is this average oil consumption for that range and speed? Second question is I have put on 2" Cobra Drag Pipes(Baffles cut in half) and rejetted with Dyno. Cannot afford BAK at the present time but I do need more air with my set up. Does anybody know if its Ok to drill holes in the back of the stock Airbox ? I realize I would have to drill below the filter mount. Would this void factory warrenty? Thanks In Advance, Ride Safe and God Bless
