 Hey guys,Just bought my 2001 rs midnight...im wondering what parts,if any interchange from the newer road stars such as lights,fenders,etc.in the road star family.specifically for my 2001. |

There is a tranny recall on your bike. If you aren't positive it's been done give a dealer or Yami customer service your VIN and they can look it up. The 1700 seats are wider and will fit your bike. All exhausts fit all years. You can go to a 1700 ignition box and raise your rev limit from 4250 to 4750. |

All of the Tins will swap out, headlight too. The 1600 R* used a different tail light than the 1700, so you would need a tail light off that year model as the fender was made different in the tail light area only. BB
