Is there a drain plug kit out on the market, or do you have to remove the forks everytime to replace the fork oil? Thanks.

I have not looked at the manuel, but I have changed the fork oil in several bikes. You do not have to but you do need to compress the forks several times to drain all the oil out. If you remove the front wheel then it may be easier to remove each fork and compress them by hand, or if you keep the front wheel attached you can strattle the bike and compress the forks. I found it easier to remove them, once they are off then it is easier to take the caps and reinstall the caps when off the bike. There is alot of tension on the caps and if your not lined up perfectly you can strip or cross thread the cap.

Thanks Musky, sounds like i've done mine the hard way, but the only times i've changed mine was on two older bikes that the seals were leaking and I was replacing them so of course I had to remove the forks.
