Quick change rear seat for Roadstar 4 Years, 5 Months ago
I am looking to swap out the seat on my 2001 Roadstar. I would like to set it up as a solo seat and have been looking at the Corbin and the Mustang seat.
It seems that the Mustang seat requires the removal of the stock rear seat bracket.
My question is if the Mustang or the corbin requires the drilled holes for the front of the factory passenger seat?
Is the Corbin or the Mustang easy to change out from solo to 2 up?

cpt390, I have a yamaha solo, which i think was made by corbin, and it uses the stock mounting..the passenger seat holes will show, so you need to get some little chrome things to put in them..or painted..what ever your choice..

I just finished a 'bobber' project from a '01 Roadie and have a studded Mustang seat and passenger pad if you are interested. I bought a used seat on EBAY and cut it down quite a bit for the bobber to save the Mustang. I took the backrest off the rider seat. One stud is missing, otherwise the seat is ok. The Mustang is really comfortable. Thought you might be interested. I want $250 for the seat.
