Just checking to see who had done it and results. I know it'll never be as effective as a true BAK, but... certainly is cheaper...

Let me know if it worked or if it ^$*&# up the tuning.

I am considering doing it...

I just did this to my stock airbox last week and have put a good 300 miles since and it runs a little better but not much. Just a little more air being sucked in but not much more because you still have the stock air filter. (which is paper and cannot suck much more air anyway). Ride Safe and God Bless, Mike

I actually have a K&N filter so I take it it would really bring in more air. Takes for the reply Mike.
