Obviously, it's too late for that .

I still consider it good form to give credit to others whenever due, whether in an article or post or a conversation.

Just my take.

Well Randy if I was referencing a new invention by someone or a special way of doing something that had ever been done before and I read in an article I would give credit where due because it would not be common knowledge and I would not want to act like it was my idea, however in this instance I referenced specs on coils that Beef asked for and I gave my response without looking at anybodys anything .I have made that Mod and when making my decision read tons of posts and read the yami manual and probably based my decision on that thread .The only article I have read of yours is the first one and I dont remember what it was but it was not coils .I remember what I read and have never had anyone say hey you are plagerizing and no I do not agree with you as I said I am not about to reference my posts ....and thats my take..and by the way Merry Christmas.....Coug

There's a lot more to a coil then just the resistance, that is only one factor of about 5 or six other factors that make a coil. If you already have the Dyna coils, I really don't think going to Nemesis coils will make any difference, unless a coil is failing. you're only talking.7 ohms, and that does not make the voltage for the spark, the ratio of the primary winding to the secondary winding determines the output voltage. And any after market will be better than stock especially as they age. IMO, save your money for more bling!

I want to upgrade my coils & wires with my Christmas money It seems that the Nemesis is better than the Dyna but does it really matter? They (Nemesis)are more expensive and harder to find. Second is it really worth changing from stock on a 05' 1700? Any info is great!

Coug,
I already have the Dyna 3000 sooo would it really help? I'm also looking into a 31 tooth pulley too.

I changed from stock to Nemesis coils and can't say I noticed anything different in the ride. I'm pulling the plugs later winter (no hurry now ) so I'll see if it had any effect on the plugs.

Nemesis/Dyna coil .... really does not make any difference but the Nemesis is closer to stock specs if that makes you any happier.

Re:Nemisis coils and wires 11 Months, 1 Week ago
Steve I went to the dyna3000 ignition and it was night and day difference in all around bike performance and then I took off some stock coils that checked out perfectly in spec and added the Nemesis and noticed my back plug seemed cleaner but no change otherwise and I am as bad as Curt about changing jetting etc ..so change is hard to tell what did it for sure .I am fine with the buy though I kept the coils and will use them when the Nemisis ones go bad .If I was watching my cash and the stock coils were good I would wait till I needed new coils...Coug
