ECU plugs and wires 4 Years, 5 Months ago
hi i am new to this forum, i have a warrior and i am doing a cusom application and making my warrior carb. so my question is can anyone with a 1999-2001 roadstar please let me know me know that the color of the wires are coming straight out of the ecu? i need to know what color is which and where on the ecu plug it is located. if you can go the extra mile and tell me that wire does what that would be great. thanks guys. i am hardwiring my carb warrior to the new dyna 3000 and it is made for a 1999-2001. so now you know what i am trying to do. thanks

Here is a link to online manuals. They have wiring diagrams in them. Might help you.

thanks for that link but i aldready have that service manual, its just not the same. i actually need someone to tell me what wires are coming out of those plugs. i was having a bunch of trouble with the efi and nobody could get it to work, so i figured i would take on the project of making it carb. i know its kinf of crazy but it will be nice.

Well, the only wires I know of that go to a stock roadie carb is the TPS and the heater,,I can't tell you too much as I don't have a stock carb..What kind of carb are you trying to use..If it is an hsr, then you don't need anything electrical connected from it to the dyna..

this might sound kinda messed up. but if you stay with EFI and run the dynojet powercommander and take it to a tuning center near you it will run much better then a carb would do. other then that as for the wires you need. for the plugs. your best bet is to find a non efi roadie wire harness and call it a day. the wiring on the warrior is much diffrent then the standard roadie.
