Harley Hand controls and turn signal questions???? 12 Months ago

Well I decided to install a set of aftermarket Harley hand controls
on my bike.Everyting went well until I started to wire my signals.
I went out and purchased a badlands control module,it is for a Harley but I figured I could get it to work.I think I can but the problem is there is only one power wire behind the head light and it is forcing all blinkers to come on..Any ideas folks??I have spent 3 days ojn this thing,my next step is to make a whole new harness or rip the damn signals off all together..Thanks for any info...Scott

I figured you could just wire the new turnsignal/running lights with the stock wires from the stock lights. May have to add some wires?

The problem is that on my controls, they are a push button type. Not momentary switch.Hence for the badlands control module.I should be able to push a button to activate and it should self cancel after about 30 secs..Man am I baffeled..

Maybe you could rewire the turn signal power to the upstream side of the module.
Disclaimer - I suck at electric.

OK, I forgot the Harley controls have the turn buttons on each side, huuuummmmmm, this is interesting, You have a wiring harness for the harley hand controlls? All I can tell ya is to take a light wire testor and work it one wire at a time, it's got me baffled at the moment. Maybe Doc can chime in! I know the stock harley had 3 wires going to each light, I don't know about the R*, should be a direct power for running, ground, and switch power for turn,,,I maybe wrong, it's been awhile, but I had my wiring memorized on my harley at one time, but seemed to have lost it since I got rid of it.
