Anyone notice if its more difficult to service your bike.. IE tires and things when you have the dual exhaust?

Hey Javawave,
I really can't tell much difference.
I haven't had to replace tires yet, but doesn't look like it would be any more problem.
The right side is actually easier to get to things than with the stock exhaust. Especially when it comes to cleaning. I think the only real problem would be getting to the front drive pully real easy.
But you should only have to disconnect the crossover pipe which isn't hard to do.
Oh yea, one other thing, I heard you'll burn the crap out of your left leg if your not careful when wearing shorts!!!

That would make a difference for me, I'm one of the idiots that wears shorts in the summer time when I scoot around town.

Yea, I heard that one too.
They really are a nice exhaust. I hope they do keep making them. If anything ever happened to mine, I would want to get another set.

If I want to lower my bags I need to go to something other than the stock pipes I have. I think they add a nice touch to the bike.

Won't that lead to worse pinching?

I'm always the only guy on runs wearing shorts. And at stops my thighs can feel like baking potatoes. I did find these heat shields which I've read work well. But I love the Doolies so just a little caution at stops and I've never had a problem.
