I haven't had to replace tires yet, but doesn't look like it would be any more problem. The right side is actually easier to get to things than with the stock exhaust. Especially when it comes to cleaning. I think the only real problem would be getting to the front drive pully real easy. But you should only have to disconnect the crossover pipe which isn't hard to do. And at stops my thighs can feel like baking potatoes. I did find these heat shields which I've read work well.
