#59924 hardone2get (User) Just ride would ya! Expert Boarder Posts: 544 carb help 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago   Ok I know that some of you guys have worked on your carb's so I need a question answered. I have never touched mine but I decided to take a look at mine to try and find the PMS. What I saw is in the picture with red arrows. I know that's not the PMS but I could see an opening that has threads in it and it's wide open. and then the other tube is wide open. Could someone look at the picture and tell me if these two red arrowed items look normal? Should there be something in the hole where the threads are? Alot of guys leave it open like myself or you could run a piece of tubing down under the bike somewhere if your worried about getting dirt in there. Yep, that what's called on the fiche! Hardone2get, the PMS is on the bottom of the carb, toward the fuel pump (on the bike). Oh and by the way I'm sure glad I don't live in your area when I see what your temp's are right now. It was 68 here today so I rode up to my doctor appointment 80 miles round trip. Wore jeans & my leather jacket.
