#60598 maessen (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 47 Help ! ! drove 60mls with 1.6 gal oil in my RStar! 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago   Recall: I get my Roadstar back. Big bore new pistons done the lot. After 60 miles the oil cap pops off. I check the oil. it comes up to the pipe where the dipstick goes in. At least 5 inches above maximum level. I think it is even 2 gallons. I checked this way: Drove 30 min, idled for 2 min. Up straight dipstick not screwed in. Question what are the consequenses? Any damage or problem running in the new cylinder? What should I ask the dealer to check? I am concerned and will talk a good word with the mechanic. But I would drain it and start over so you know for sure how much you have in there. I had the topend rebuilt on an old Suzuki and on the first run the pressure blew out an oil seal behind the front sproket.
