Passing Lamp Spins 5 Years, 12 Months ago
I have a strange problem. My left side passing lamp on my 06' Road* Silverado has a problem of slowly but steadly turning in a circle. The part that says top on the bulb ends up between the 7-11 position after riding a little while. I have taken it apart several times and tryed the rubber in differnt positons to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem ? What can be done to rectify the problem ? Was thinking of putting a small bead of shoe goo between bulb and rubber seal. What do you think? Thanks in advance. God Bless and Ride safe. Mike

Have you taken it to the dealer and pointed out that they sold you a busted bike?
On my last bike I had that problem. I ran about an inch long bead of clear silicone along the joint between the bulb and the chrome ring on the outside. I ran it along the top but I had visors on the lights so you couldn't really see it. Can you see light between the ring and the body? I put visors on all my R* lights but I can't remember if the passing lamps had notches that things had to fit in for it to be together right or not.
