I think there is more to it than that. I am running PM wheels so can't say for surebut Ido know there are a lot of things to consider. Maybe other that know more will chime in.

I am in the middle of that mod right now. Still getting all the parts together. It has taken me a while to find 40 spoke billet hubs. But you can check out this thread to get a good start on your information:

I just copied and pasted this from another thread on this site. Hope I didn't break andybodies copyright law! Re:Anyone laced on a wider rim? 22 Minutes ago
These are some really cool sites, some of those custom Rodie's are definitely in the wish book. If you want to really customize your Rodie this is a great place to check out...CharlieDocShadow wrote:

For Yama SS spoke wheels try .... http://www.sscustomcycle.com/products/wheels/roadstar.shtml
http://www.buchananspokes.com/

or for an HD axles, spacers and rotor adaptors, give Ray a call http://www.looneyseats.com/ at 1-508-675-6999. You can buy an 84-99 HD wheel for a 3/4" axle on e-Bay.

The HD and Yama rear pulleys are just about the same size and are interchangeable with a bit of 'coaxing'.
