Hey Steve..thanks..

You know to be honest the Big Dog move wasn't all bad. I picked up 2200.00 on the deal. I will give this bike a chance to impress me. As said the comfort is there......just got to work on getting it to be MINE.
I have to deep six that fuel pump and do the AIS right off. Is it absolutely necessary to replace the float valve in the carb or can I go up one size in the fuel line since it is being made to be gravity fed?

I've seen a few true pumpless with a stock carb but they are not that common. Best bet it to replace the float valve.

Doc is right,, I had to replace the float valve in my speedstar hsr,, the orfice is too small for gravity feed in the stock valve....Cougar runs a stock carb pumpless and he had to replace it...
