Platinum Boarder Posts: 1838 Barons BAK or Speedstar 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago   Just what is the difference in the BAK and the Speedstar filter?.. other than a hundred bucks? No jets, needle or any thing else if you want the billet back plate you have to buy it for $170 and the cover and filter is $183. In my book the BAK is a better buy. With the BAK you get the entire air kit. Back plate, filter, and front plate. You get (from memory here) a 175,172.5,170, and 167.5, Mik main jets. A 6 groove Barons needle. Extra clips and washers. 4 Allen head float bowl screws. And a drill bit and screw to take the PMS plug out. You also get the cone doodad that your supposed to stick to the inside of the BAK. It reminded me of that tornado Jobby that you drop into car carbs and it's supposed to magically go up to 500 miles a gallon.
