Jeam,

If the problem is the compression, it is not that you are able to generate so much, it is that the
decompression system is not working correctly. Also, to do 5600 rpm with this engine is, IN MY OPINION,
asking for trouble. If you pull the plugs and the engine turns over that is good. Have you ever been able to
get the engine running??? If you say that you tried to make it work by pulling the spoon by hand and it still did not
work then I would take the cam cover off and make sure the little rods that the spoon pushs in are there.

I TO TRY TO MAKE The WORK OF DECOMPRESSION WITH The HAND, I TO TAKE The CAM COVER And TO PRESS WITH The HANDS The TWO SWEEP OF DECOMPRESSION And The MOTOR DOES NOT WORK.

I HAVE NOT MEASURED THE COMPRESSION TODAY I DO IT I WRITE TO SAY TO HIM WHATEVER TO HIM TO HAVE.

From everything I've seen the Road Star drops horsepower and torque after about 5150 rpm.....

I hope you have someone there that can translate this for you.....

You're problem is not that you compression ratio is too high. The decompression circuit keeps the valves open just a little bit which allows compression to be released.

The problem could be in your valve train, decomp cirucuit, and that is pretty much it. If you pull the plugs and the motor rolls over then it has to be valve train or decomp. Take off the valve covers, remove the plugs, do the valves open and close when you hit the starter button???? Now, make sure the push rods are not bent, if all this is ok then see if you can push the rods in that are in the end of each cam (remove the cam over)...they push hard, like spring loaded....

Also, do you have adjustable push rods????

I've tried to stay out of this as my mechanical ability is limited.

However, when I changed my lifters, I followed the manual on how to re-assemble the pushrods and found one of the pictures in the maual had the pushrod locations reversed. The motor turned over but did not start.

MR LTOR MY MOTORCYCLE YOU HAVE BEEN ACCUSTOMING FOR OF THE SAME FORM,
BLOWS THE GAS MIXTURE BY CARB BUT HE DOES NOT IGNITE.
THANKS FOR ITS HELP.
I HAVE A QUESTION?
WHEN I PRESS The BUTTON TO IGNITE The SELENOIDE GOES OFF And PRESSES The BARS OF The CAMS BUT IT DOES NOT RAISE PUSH RODS. THAT IS NORMAL?

IT IS TO SAY WHEN I GIVE TO IGNITE The EXCAPE VALVES MUST OPEN?
SO THAT IT DOES NOT DO IT.
