Re:Thanks everyone for responding to my ???
If I buy my tires online ,and not at the dealer, will the yamaha dealer still mount them for me? It seems the prices online will be much better than if I get them at the dealer.

If you are happy to take off and re-fit your wheels, a good tire shop will fit the tyres for a few$$. That's what I do. Some bikers say that only a bike shop should fit bike tires...I do not know why. My local tire dealer always does a great job.

I've heard others say they'd had problems getting the dealer to mount tires not bought from them. That's not my experience. My local shop had no issues mounting the tire I bought online on the rim and balancing it. I took it off and re-installed it myself.

Sorry Alund , I am thinking the same I still have the stock ones but they stick out a little to much & the smaller tight ones look the best . Look around in the clinic I am sure you can find many options. If not do as Greysnake suggested & you will undoubtedly get your answer. By the way jump in anytime these guys will help or point you in the right direction .Either way they are great to help.

Re:New Tires? 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago
should that $60 price include the dealer removing the wheels from the bike or is that asking for too much? just wondering if (when I have to) I will need to remove the wheels myself and take them to an indy and pay $60.

thanks,,,,,,still a newbie.

I run a bike repair shop. Another shop a mile down the road from me has changed hands; the previous owner told people who brought in a part and asked to have it installed "if you didn't buy it here, it won't get installed here." He also told people "if it isn't going to be installed here, then you won't buy it here."

As a result I got a lot of business that he could have had. I guess the new owner doesn't feel that way because it has been a while since anyone has said they were turned away by the other shop.

Just had Conti Milestone WW`s installed yesterday, can`t believe how nice they lookNice profile and tread pattern. well let you know about performance.Got 16,000 out of my stock rear, front still has a lot of tread but noisy. Can`t brlieve how much the WW`s brighten up the rims.I do lot of 2up but very little hot rodding.Real happy with the Classic look
