ON A COLD START AFTER 2 OR 3 SECONDS,THE ENGINE ALWAYS MAKES A CLANKING NOISE ON THE RIGHT FRONT SIDE AT ABOUT ONE SECOND INTERVALS, MORE OR LESS. IT LASTS FOR 10-15 SECONDS AND FADES AWAY AS THE ENGINE WARMS SLIGHTLY. THE CLANK IS VERY NOTICEABLE; EVERYTHING ELSE APPEARS NORMAL. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A LIFTER PROBLEM? I DO HAVE ANOTHER TWO WEEKS OF WARRANTY ON THIS USED BIKE AND AM TAKING IT IN IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. THE PROBLEM MAY BE OBVIOUS TO AN EXPERT BUT I HAVE LITTLE TECHNICAL SKILL. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, I'VE ONLY HAD THE BIKE FOR TWO WEEKS AND HAVE DRIVEN IT A TOTAL OF ABOUT 100 MILES. It was the exhaust heat sheilds warming up. It doesnt do it any more since i put the Jugg Huggers on it. Hopefully your is the same noise.
