BebHerr Manifold for 1700 R* 10 Months ago
Can anyone tell me if its worth installing the extended manifold for the few extra horses.I got a pro series hyper charger on the bike and I understand that spacers are needed for the install.Don't really sound like a big deal, but my concern is vibration and bolts coming lose.I use lock tite on all of my installs so I'm hoping that the spacers won't make any difference. Also have there been any problems with the aluminum cracking around the mounting bolt holes from vibration. How much more porformance can I expect out of this manifold verses a stock one.

Sounds like spacers or extended manifold would increase HP, I know it works on cars and trucks, but I have never have tried on the motorcycle.
The breather or hypercharger you have should utilize the origional 3 point mounting areas I would think, so I wouldn't see any problem with the bolts vibration loose, and loctite should take care of anything coming loose.......by the way

I'VE GOT THE NEMESIS INTAKE AND HAD A HYPERCHARGER. HAD TO GET SOME 1'' CHROME SPACERS FROM ACE HARDWARE STORE AND LONGER BOLTS. NO PROBLEMS WITH THE MOUNTING BUT THE CARGER IS A BIG EXTENDED UNIT IN ITSELF AND WITH THE EXTRA FROM THE INTAKE PUSHED OUT MY KNEE TO A UNCOMFORTABLE POSITION FOR ME. I DO HAVE A BUGGERED HIP FROM A OLD BIKE WRECK. IS SOMETHING FOR YOU TO CHECK OUT ANYWHOO. HOPE I HELPED RIDE SAFE BRO.

I agree,
My hypercharger looks good but it extends way to far out for comfort on run of 100 miles or more.
I'm looking for a cheaper alternative because I'm not in love with the bak either.
