Fuel Filter 4 Years, 2 Months ago
In lieu of a standard fuel filter would the small inline filter at the carb inlet suffice even temporarily? I put it in a small a piece of aluminum piping in between hoses and it fit nicely. Just curious (actually, cheap).

Never mind. I did a little ciphering and figured that the setup would constrict the flow so probably I wouldn't be any further ahead (running the Suzuki valve with no pump).

Why not just go to the auto parts store and pick up a filter? Doesn't have to be anything special. The NAPA 3095 is a good one.

Son gone out to parts store to get me one. I gotta learn to leave some things alone, especially my bike. But you guys are so convincing!
Learned a lot about the R* from the RSC and if I do win the big lottery I'll buy all the members on the site one part of their choice just to say thanks. (There, it's in writing.)

Now that I've gotten up off the floor and stopped laughing enough to see what I'm typing maybe I should clarify my statement. Would you settle for custom rims and a helmet, my choice of colors?

I have been told by some old timers that if you see a fuel delivery truck at a gas station, do not purchase gas there. Go to another station and get gas. This is because filling the ground tanks stirs up all the sediment in the tanks. And nobody wants that in their Road*.

Just a thought.
