Have been reading the artical on running with no fuel pump sounds great.My
question is in an emergency could you bypass your fuel pump as is and would it run?

Maybe. Probably have to baby it but it beats pushing it. Might have to take your gas cap off. And if your low on gas it might not work at all. I think you should test it out and let us know. <br><br>Post edited by: Musky, at: 2006/07/12 13:13

I've seen guys post that they have run without the fuel pump and have experienced no problems. Hoever, it seems that most have fuel starvation problems without the pump even with a Pingle and vented cap.

I tried to run without the pump once (everyting else stock) and had no luck. If I tried to push the bike or run at constant speed at higher revs it would starve of gas.

In a pinch you can run without it but you have to 'be gentle'.
