Running like Garbage! 4 Years, 1 Month ago   I agree with Musky if it ran good then you filled up with fuel and shortly after you have problems..... I would start there. Drain ALL the fuel and fill up again with quality gas and see what happens. Check your fuel filter too. I think you need to do a shock treatment I cured a lot of my problem by dropping the pipes off and sparying Deep Creap into the exaust ports and letting it sit overnight and then taking it on a long 200 mile trip and ran in the 80 mph range most of the time. It was running like crap before the gas...I thought some 92 might help clean it out! There is a god!! I haven't changed the oil yet!! My new crank case drain bolt just came in from the stealer and I haven't had a chance to do it yet! Thanks, but I took care of that. Went from 35 with 3 1/2 turns to 37 with 1 1/2 and then back again. I should have realized that when I took out the original plugs and saw that they were black I already had a problem. I should have seafoamed then with new plugs and then changed the oil. New plugs and 5oz of seafoam and she is running as smooth as ever! After this tank is empty I'll do the switch to synthetic oil and It should be smooth sailing...I mean riding! It can't burn fast enough in our low compression engines, and I'm sure you'll find it definitely doesn't make it run ANY better. Besides, it costs alot less than regular! It's funny when you pull up to the pumps (no self serve in Oregon) and the attendant automatically thinks you're going to want premium! You tell him (or her) "Fill it with regular."
