Someone said something purple and I ask my parts man and he ask if it was the racing oil or just the other one. I think Mobil 1 was also mentioned. Most here switch to synthetic oil and there are many good one's.The syn. oil will quiet the roadie down some and some bikes like one brand better than others.I use amsoil 10w40,some use mobile-1 20w50. It may depend on what you can get locally. Was in the dealership where I bought my bike yesterday and saw the Yami synthetic oil. Asked how it would work in my Road*. One employee said she didn't know if it would work. Other said it causes clutch slippage in 4-wheelers. This place is 20 miles from my home. Next dealer is 45 miles. Yall think you have it bad.... Anyone ever used the Yami synthetic?
