I agree they "can" be very loud at times. But they dont "have" to be. Now Im not gonna say that I have never gone under a bridge, heard the call of the wild, and mashed the throttle as hard as I could, and I know you guys know what I mean, but Im not one that punches it to be completely annoying and obnoxious in a quiet neighborhood. But my bikes gotta have a voice I have the longshots HS and I think they sound great... Rolling down the road and hearing that solid rumble under ya, in my opinion theres nothing better. Junior Boarder Posts: 140 Re:VH Long shots to loud 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago   Well when I bought my bike I knew I wouldn't like the factory pipes so I had them install V&H longshots rode it home about 3 miles pulled into the garage & took the baffles out ,they have been laying in that same spot for 2yrs. now ....Now if you want some real sound do this. I don't have cars or trucks trying to come over in my lane because they don't know I'm there.
