did pop rivet break it of do I have SVS 7 Months ago
went over to pop rivet's to change the oil and bring her home. She's only firing on the front cyl. - rear wants to suck

- I started it regularly over winter
- put stabilizer in the gas, the gas was low tho
- never too much oil, never premium gas, never lugged it and didn't leave the choke in too long

We fogged the heck out of it yesterday and left it overnite to sit. Going in now to hopefully get it running right.

So did pop rivet break my bike or do I have SVS?

Bet your rear plugs are fouled try checking them and maybe put in new plugs. Don't jump to SVS yet plugs are a cheap fix.

"started it regularly" .... this year leave it alone. Just fog it and let it sit. Starting it produces a lot of unburned carbon which you can't get rid of by letting it idle in the garage. As you know, it's especially a problem in the rear. The fogging should help get the rear running again.

Also .... "stabilizer in gas" .... I assume you dumped the old gas. even with stabilizer the gas deteriorates. I've found that the carb sometimes gums up over winter and a good cleaning should help it run better overall.

Going up to 26 here so hope to get out for the first 'real' ride of the season. Unfortunately, there's a lot of spring cleanup to do. Still some snow here, how's Kingston?

weather is beautiful, snow all gone,

went in and started the bike, no change. Going golfing so I can't do anything until tomorrow. I'll change the plugs.
With pop's expertiece I'm sure we'll get to the problem...I hope.

No, I didn't dump the gas, but it's fresh now. The last time it was started it ran like a charm,,,them bam here it is

Dead on Curt.. yer the man...

Took out the rear plugs and both were wet and fouled...

New plugs and voila...back to normal....

Who would have thought two plugs would foul simultaneously and lay dead...
