So, by turning the nut like your tightening it, therefore compressing the spring more, that will make more a better ride? I ride mostly single. Weigh about 250 Lbs.

First you loosen the lock nut then turn the adjusting nut clockwise to increase the tension on the spring,better ride.Make sure to retighten the lock nut.

I bought the eibach 1000lb rate spring and put on im 280lbs my wife is ***lbs and I dont bottom out or nothing with it anymore, good envestment in my book and rides a bit better too..

Also, you may want to check out the Progressive rear spring. Love mine, it makes a nice difference in the ride and handling.
