For those that want to stay with Amsoil but would rather pick it up themselves instead of ordering, paying shipping, and waiting I found it at these stores. It is a calm, well thought out, moderate, and successful exchange of ideas, thoughts, and experience. Taking place Soley to enlighten fellow R* riders and enable them to better protect their engines and prolong the life of their bikes. This will be accomplished by the mutual agreement on which oil is the best to use. A decision I expect to be reached in the very near future. Was the Mobil 1 you used one of the Motorcycle specific mixes... or the standard auto mix? The Auto oil probably has friction modifiers (the energy conserving you mentioned..) whereas there bike oils are not supposed to. Thanks.. I have over 2k on my first change with 20W50, and the oil seems to be holding up extremely well. Just askin'.
