If you're using LEDs on your trailer and you keep your wire sizes down... 14 ga. you could use a replacement CB radio connector set... (DIN connector) the wire size is limited 14 max and it has five pins (plus the metal ones provide a chassis ground service.) This would be an option if you're handy with a soldering iron... I know the OEM tail light wires on my '06 are no bigger than 14-ga. so it may be what you're looking for... (Check out Radio Shack...)   Logged     Over 50...? The new trailer came with a 5 pin round connector. From what I have heard here we also have 5 wire system on the bike. The trailer has LED lights so grounding to the trailer must be done from the bikes ground directly. Cannot depend on the ball to ground the lights. Gold Boarder Posts: 704 Re:Went deep and bought trailer now what? 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago   At first I was thinking why not change to a regular simple wiring harness kit like an automotive 4-pin settup, but then I remembered I had wired fender lights on my wife's voyager trike kit using a 4-pin settup and I only have running lights and turn signals but no brake lights, it had me baffled first then I realized our motorcycles aren't wired the same as a car.......best bet would be the company or manufacture the trailer was purchased.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access. #80638 hardone2get (User) Just ride would ya! If you can't find it there then contact the people who made your trailer. They should have offered you that connector when you made your purchase.
