#80909 asmcgoose (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 16 More gremlins... 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago   So I'm riding down the highway and the motor cuts out, feels like fuel starvation. I drop a gear and the bike starts running again. An hour or so later, the same thing happens. I drop down into 4th and the motor fires back up. This has happened to me several times in the past few weeks. It only seems to happen when the motor's not under load, just cruising along. The bike accelerates well and most of the time runs like a Swiss watch. The plugs look good and I just put in a new fuel pump. Has this happened to anyone else? If it dies suddenly, it sounds like a loose electrical connection. I'll have time this weekend to check connections and possibly a bare wire grounding out on the frame.
