speedo help? 5 Years, 9 Months ago  
A friend of mine has a 02 roadstar that he just put a hypercharger on,after he put everything back on when you turn the the key on, the speedo needle jumps up to 120mph then settles back to 20 mph and will not go back to zero.Dealer says he has to replace speedometer at $400.00.ANYBODY else ever have this problem or any ideas on this.(I have had my tank off many times without no troubles.)THANKS FOR ANY HELP.DAUBY

He could try unplugging the speedo for a while (couple hours) and then hook it back up. Worked on my last bike.
