It is much cleaner looking ( IMHO, both the front and rear stock light bars are pretty ugly (especially, the front one). Are the turn signals as prominent (meaning, are they very bright)? Had to pull the rear fender, eh?

H3 would be halogen, not sealed beam, right? I imagine the buckets in the sealed beam or halogen are the same. Please advise...
Right H3 is halogen and the yamaha halogen buckets are larger and wont take the Kury black dot H3 ....which fit the the sealed beam buckets....

So, is the wiring the same, meaning can you put the kury black dot light in a sealed beam bucket, even though the Kury has an H3 bulb? Is the electrical connection the same for a sealed beam and a H3 or are there mods to make? Sorry, your last message confused me a bit and I'm a bit thickheaded

thanks Pop Rivit! So I need about $400 bucks to add the passing lamps and change the lamps + the headlight. Think I'll do it with the gov't rebate. Any one install the yami passing lamps? I know they recommend professional installation. My dealer wants like $500 to install (insane). Is it really that difficult?

I installed the yami passing lamps on a V-Star Classic which I had before I got my roadie. I don't like taking my bike or my cars to the stealership for anything unless it's really necessary. It really isn't that hard, just takes a little while. Make sure you splice the lamps into a wire that is connected to the ignition(Like the headlight) that way the lights turn off when you turn your key off so there is no way to forget the lights are on. If you are mechanically inclined at all and enjoy working on your bike at all, you can definitely install these on your Road*.

I installed the yami passing lamps on my R* and like ramathorn45892 said it is not hard to do. If you do buy the yami lights, the instructions that come with it will tell you which color wire to splice in. I finished the job within one hour.

Maybe at least a 2 beer job
Just order what ya need and when it arrives the fun begins..its a learning thing....read the instructions
and ...then yell for help

k, broke down and ordered the yami bar with the sealed beams.
Was going to order the lamps. Is there a difference between Kury 2132 (7" wave cut with black dot) and the Adjure T70400 (7" wave cut with black dot), other than more expensive price for the Kury ones. The headlight is about $10 cheaper and the spots are about $12 cheaper. Will they both fit the same? Why the diff, unless Kury has to make a profit too? WDYT?
