Expert Boarder Posts: 486 What's wrong with my bike?! 8 Months, 1 Week ago   I've always driven at the speed that feels "right" for the vehicle... the "sweet spot" I guess you would call it. Usually it's close to the speed limit. But the sweet spot on my Road Star is around 80mph! What's wrong with this bike!? heheheh But seriously folks, it runs great at all speeds but at 80mph the engine just feels like it smooths out. The only negative at that speed is that since I installed the Memphis Fats and lowers the whole bike seems to move around a lot.   Logged     2006 Midnight. My scoot is the close to yours at an indicated 78-82 I get a buzz, just above or just below and smooth as silk. I noticed that after installing a new Lindby bar that the buzz is pretty much gone. Sad thing is the speed limit on most roads here in Iowa is only 55.
