Had my carb off today because my bike was running bad and my mileage had went down. I did find a kink in my tank vent hose and the clamp on the manifold / carb wasn't as tight as it could be but I think I found the real problem and it's easy to miss. I've always had 3 clicks on my choke. Since it's been warm I haevn't had to use the 3rd click so I've only been pulling it out to the second notch. Well, when I put my bike back together today I re mounted the cable and checked the choke. I only had 2 clicks. So I have been starting it on the 3rd notch. When I push it back in it is only going back to the 1st notch. Not all the way off. I took a pair of pliers and gave the rubber nut behind the knob a half turn and got my 3rd click back. Now it's running like my old Roadie. Just something I though you should know about if you are having similar problems. Something to check out anywho.
